WORK

1st Aid Responders is an approved Emergency First Response (EFR) Centre. The EFR  First Aid at Work (Great Britain) course, is a Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved first aid course, for the purpose of meeting the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

All of our work courses provide nominated workers, with the knowledge and comprehensive practical skills required, to become confident first aiders in the workplace - so enabling them to deal with common first aid emergencies.

Course timings
All work course 'days' run from 09:15 - 16:45, with a short breaks for morning & afternoon refreshments as well as a break for lunch.

Candidate requirements
Candidates must be 16+ and need a basic command of English (defined as Level 2), although we may be able to make special arrangements if requested in advance. Please contact us if you need any guidance.

Please see the table below to plan your future training sequence. Skills DO deteriorate over time, so please conduct appropriate training to keep within the spirit of the HSE advice!
